Radio Tactics has announced the roll out of its specialist ACESO mobile device data extraction solution into Metropolitan Police Service boroughs across the metropolis, as part of a wider partnership to collaborate on technology to solve crime.

Radio Tactics has announced the release of ACESO V5.8, which counters the unrelenting increase in smartphone app usage. This latest release includes dedicated decoders for the acquisition of critical data such as app passwords, contact information and instant messaging chat logs, which are frequently stored in proprietary formats within BlackBerry and Apple iOS devices.

After attending the UK regional finals, Radio Tactics are delighted to be named as runner up in the 2011 Global Security Challenge. Hundreds of entries were received from over 30 countries all competing to win this prestigious award and prize funding. Global Security Challenge looks for new technologies and innovations within the security sector; Radio Tactics' ATHENA was seen as one such technology that encompasses innovativity and dynamism which is so important in advancing security capabilities and contributes towards the fight against the global terrorist threat.

Radio Tactics has received the runner-up prize in this year’s Equipment and Technology Innovation (“ETI”) Awards. The ETI Awards were launched six years ago by HOSDB and the Association of Police and Public Security Suppliers (“APPSS”), which is now part of ADS.
