Radio Tactics announces release of ACESO V5.8 with new app decoders and iPhone 4S support

‘The advent of the smartphone app presents new challenges for all users of mobile data acquisition equipment. Radio Tactics has developed a powerful suite of decoders to address the demands of data extraction from the most widely used smartphone applications used today.

ACESO can now systematically extract and present evidentially secure data from apps including BlackBerry Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk, MSN, Kik, Dropbox, Facebook, Skype, WhatsApp, Safari and Google Maps. Decoders for emerging apps are continually being developed and will be incorporated in future releases.’

Radio Tactics has announced the release of ACESO V5.8, which counters the unrelenting increase in smartphone app usage. This latest release includes dedicated decoders for the acquisition of critical data such as app passwords, contact information and instant messaging chat logs, which are frequently stored in proprietary formats within BlackBerry and Apple iOS devices.

Support  for 111 additional mobile phone handsets, including the must-have iPhone 4S, is also addressed in this latest release along with an enhanced database search facility for faster handset identification. However, it is the ability to interrogate even more data generated via the most popular smartphone applications that is likely to interest ACESO users.
